David Clarke, Sterling Jordan, and Leon H. Marks oath, 1813.

This collection consists of an 1813 oath signed by David Clarke, Sterling Jordan, and Leon H. Marks, all of Jefferson County, Georgia, stating they will make a "just and true" appraisement of William Parsons estate. Parsons was deceased at the time of the appraisal.

David Clarke married Agnes Townsley in Jefferson County, Georgia, in 1810. No biographical information is available on Sterling Jordan. Leon Heyman (1778-1824) Marks was born in Germany.
